This long distance triathlon takes place in an exceptional setting, with the Mont Ventoux, the giant of Provence and the world summit of cycling, as the highlight! A great challenge to be achieved in exceptional panoramas in the heart of the Vaucluse.
Created in 2015 by Charles DOUSSOT and Jean-François RIBET, the VentouxMan® has established itself, in only 8 editions, as one of the most beautiful French triathlons.
A travers les vignobles et villages typiques du Vaucluse avec l’ascension du mythique Ventoux depuis Bédoin, par son versant le plus difficile.
Since 2021, the VentouxMan has been offering you a unique bike/run sequence on the slopes of the Géant de Provence
- 28 km of cycling from Bédoin, in a peloton as well as a cyclosportive! Including 21 km of climbing and 1600 m of ascent on the star side of the Ventoux. Followed by a short descent (6km + 1km flat) from the summit to the Mont Serein station
- 10km of running (2 laps) on the famous mixed circuit (road/track), hilly and panoramic of the VentouxMan. As in a Triathlon, the two disciplines are linked together with a quick transition (the bike is dropped off at a dedicated and secure place called "Parc à Vélos" at Mont Serein) and the time is not interrupted! A nice little challenge to get to know the VentouxMan!
The VentouxKids offers four races for young people aged 5 to 13 (mini chicks, chicks, pupils, benjamins). Swimming courses from 50m to 200m then 1 to 4 kilometres of cycling and finally running: 500m to 1500m.
The hotel Ventoux Provence "Domaine des Tilleuls" is located at the foot of the Mont Ventoux in Malaucène in Vaucluse. A former 18th century silkworm farm, you will be charmed by its large wooded park with swimming pool. On site private parking, secure bike room. By staying at the hotel you benefit from a preferential rate to use the facilities of the Spa Ventoux Provence. An ideal place to recover after a sporting event.
