History Restaurant Hangar N°1
The Gros Noyer Farm, today our residential hotel estate, has been a family heritage since the Revolution and has followed and participated in the economic evolution of Malaucène. The last to be born on the farm, Nelly, a farmer, and Joël, her husband, decided one day to transform the farm sheds into a balneotherapy centre, in order to revive the tradition of "Malaucène village of well-being", according to Clément V.
There were three sheds: N°1, now a restaurant, N°2 and N°3 were transformed into a Spa, the "Spa Ventoux Provence". The reception of the Spa was N°2 and N°3 was located at the level of the current fitness room up to the swimming pool. To return to Hangar N°1, from agricultural shed to repair workshop via the forge, the only machine that has never been moved and is still in working order is "La Meule" which you can admire.
