The Raid Provence Extrême takes place on the weekend of Pentecost, June 4th and 5th 2022. One of the most beautiful road courses in the world to ride for this Ultra sporting challenge. Ultra Distance Cycling event, created in 2004, which visits the most beautiful landscapes of the Provencal country, Mont Ventoux, Plateau de Valensole, Gorges du Verdon, Luberon and Alpilles.

For this new edition, the majestic course of the Raid Provence Extreme will not be really modified, with its historical standards, i.e. Mont Ventoux, Montagne de Lure, Plateau de Valensole, Gorges du Verdon and Luberon for a distance of approximately 600 kms and 11000 m of ascent.

Events of the Raid Provence Extrême

The rules of the event are in accordance with the international WUCA regulations, non-drafting mandatory for the ULTRAS categories, with strict observance of the highway code for all participants and compulsory check-in at all checkpoints.

An exceptional and unforgettable course that will remain engraved in the minds of the participants! Run along the Mont Ventoux, the Montagne de Lure, the Plateau de Valensole and its lavender fields, the Gorges du Verdon and the superb Luberon!

The Hotel Ventoux Provence welcomes you for your stay at the foot of the Mont Ventoux in Malaucène.
